As a dancer, Michelle has performed with Group Motion, Footfalls Modern Dance Company, the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, and, of course, ContempraDance Theatre. She was also a principal dancer in Freedom Theatre's Repertory Ensemble. She continues to dance professionally in lead roles for ContempraDance Theatre.
As far as education is concerned, Michelle holds a BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts and an MPA in Non-Profit Management from Strayer University. She has studied with accomplished dancers like Barbara Sandanato, Judith Jamison, and Milton Meyers, all of whom went on to become lead dancers and principal dancers in well-respected companies.
Michelle has taught master classes at colleges such as UArts, Swathmore College, and Temple University. She has instructed the Allegria cast of Cirque de Soleil. After her students performed at the London Olympics, the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts requested her instruction in 2013. www.culturalinterchanges.com

Diane Alex-Brody teaches the important early fundamentals of the curriculum and acts as a member of the advisory staff of The Pottstown Dance Theatre Repertory Ensemble. She has close ties to Pottstown Dance Theatre, because she studied under founder Phyllis Rudzitis.
Diane began her training in Montana, but later studied with John White of the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet. She has also taken master classes with Roy Kaiser (Artistic Director of Pennsylvania Ballet), Barbara Sandanato, and Ruth Adrien of the Paul Taylor Dance Company.
Carol Hebert teaches tap at Pottstown Dance Theatre, which her students find very enjoyable. Carol has also taught at Hartford Conservatory, the School of the Hartford Ballet, and the New England Conservatory.
Carol graduated from the Hartford Conservatory of Music and Dance, and she has a BFA in dance from the University of Massachusetts. As a member of the Deborah Carr Theatre Dance Ensemble, Ms. Hebert performed at the highly prestigious American Dance Festival in NC.
Carol has studied with some of the most respected names in American tap dance including Brenda Buffalino and LaVaughn Robinson.
Michelle is the owner and director of Pottstown Dance Theatre, the artistic director of the Melange Contemporary Dance Theatre, and the assistant director for the ContempraDance theatre. She is also an adjunct Professor of Dance at Immaculata University, and annually works at the International Dance Festival in Ladek, Zdroj, Poland.
Students who work with Michelle will have the opportunity to perform in a variety of venues. In 2012 Michelle sent some of her students to the Olympic Games in London, and in January 2016 her students will have the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall. In 2010, her company Melange was invited to perform at the International Dance Festival.
